G+D ePayments is looking for a Procurement Engineer, for a position based in Barcelona while working with the global Procurement team.


Your tasks

  • You drive the G+D relevant ESG strategies and activities with our suppliers, e.g. PCF calculations
  • You support strategic purchasing with technical expertise, trends, technology and industry analyses in discussions and negotiations
  • You are jointly contributing to the design and stringent implementation of product strategies and roadmaps with our suppliers
  • You are the leading process owner for change notifications from our suppliers (Product Change Notification / Product Change Information)
  • In close cooperation with the other functional departments, you manage the sourcing of sample materials
  • You are the technical interface in Procurement for suppliers, R&D, Product Management and Quality


Your profile

  • You have completed a technical degree (physics, electrical engineering or similar) or comparable training, ideally with a focus on semiconductors
  • Your first relevant experience in a technical environment and confidence in using tools is desirable
  • You have successfully demonstrated your strong analytical judgment and the ability to reliably solve complex issues in global and cross-functional teams in the past
  • Availability to travel approximately once per quarter
  • Fluent English language skills
