Are you a technically strong Private Client Tax Manager looking to focus on high-quality advisory work while building meaningful client relationships in a supportive and forward-thinking firm?

The Opportunity - Private Client Tax Manager

Reporting immediately to the Director, as Private Client Manager you will manage your own portfolio of clients while playing a key role in delivering advisory services to an inspiring group of clientele as well as acting as mentor to junior team members. The firm's structure ensures everyone is closely involved in all aspects of client work, allowing you to develop trusted relationships and gain exposure to technically rewarding projects.

You will advise an impressive client base that includes:

  • High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs)
  • Entrepreneurs and business owners
  • Property investors and landlords
  • Freelancers and independent traders
  • UK-based clients with international interests

Typical advisory work includes:

  • Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning
  • Capital Gains Tax (CGT) advice
  • Trusts and estate planning
  • Property ownership and holding structures
  • Residence and domicile matters
  • Share schemes, awards and options
  • Enterprise investment reliefs including EIS, SEIS and VCTs

About You: to succeed in this pivotal role, you will ideally:

  • Be CTA or ATT qualified, although exceptional candidates qualified through experience will also be considered
  • Have a strong background in private client taxation gained within professional services, accountancy practice or a legal environment
  • Enjoy delivering technically robust and commercially focused advice
  • Be confident reviewing work, mentoring junior team members and supporting their development
  • Have experience preparing and presenting advisory reports to clients
