Primary - Year 1 Teacher

Year 1 Teacher - Wallingford (June- End of July)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Wallingford from June through to the end of the academic year (July).

The Role:

• Full-time Year 1 class teacher
• Planning, preparation, and marking responsibilities included
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
• Work collaboratively with a supportive staff team

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
• Strong knowledge of the phonics curriculum (e.g., Read Write Inc / Phonics Screening)
• A nurturing and patient approach
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
