Overview

A welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Blackpool, rated 'Good' by Ofsted, is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable PPA Cover Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

Contract: Full time, temporary with potential to become permanent. Start Date: September 2026. Salary: M1-M6, dependent on experience.

This PPA Cover Teacher role is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys variety and is confident delivering engaging lessons across different year groups. The successful candidate will work within a supportive school environment and play a key role in maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 to cover teachers' PPA time.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Work collaboratively with class teachers and support staff.
• Uphold the school's behaviour expectations and values.

Ideal Candidate

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).

• Be flexible, proactive and able to build positive relationships quickly.
• Have a passion for providing high-quality education for all learners.
