Contract Type: PermanentNote: We are currently not able to support visa sponsorship for this position.The RoleAs a PLC Controls Engineer, you will play a critical role in our manufacturing process, ensuring our production lines run smoothly and efficiently. To do this, you will:

• Design and develop PLC programmes for our existing and upcoming automated production lines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimise downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades on PLC systems to keep our technology at the forefront of the industry.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to implement process improvements and enhance productivity.
• Train and support production staff in the operation of PLC-controlled equipment.

About YouExperience

• Theoretical knowledge, gained through related study or on-the-job experience, of PLC programming, HMI, and industrial automation. Knowledge of Schneider and Allen Bradley platforms is an advantage.
• Practical application of PLC programming knowledge from design to implementation stages, either within an education-based project, or projects in a previous PLC Controls Engineer role preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
