Brioche Pasquier UK is seeking a dynamic and innovative PLC Controls Engineer to join our team and contribute to the company's ongoing success.Location: Milton Keynes, UKHours: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 08:30-17:30. However, operational needs will require flexibility occasionally.Starting salary: From £38k up to £45k based on the skills and experience you bring.Benefits (subject to length of service):

- Design and develop PLC programmes for our existing and upcoming automated production lines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimise downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades on PLC systems to keep our technology at the forefront of the industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to implement process improvements and enhance productivity.
- Train and support production staff in the operation of PLC-controlled equipment.
- Theoretical knowledge, gained through related study or on-the-job experience, of PLC programming, HMI, and industrial automation. Knowledge of Schneider and Allen Bradley platforms is an advantage.
- Practical application of PLC programming knowledge from design to implementation stages, either within an education-based project, or projects in a previous PLC Controls Engineer role preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Problem-Solver: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying root cause issues and driving workable solutions.
- Communication: Articulate in verbal and written communication appropriate to the situation and your audience.
- Collaborative Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, gaining input across multiple functions to ensure compliance in engineering projects.
