Plant & Yard Operative (Flexible Hours)

As Plant and Yard Operative you are responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our plant, equipment, machinery, materials and yard facilities. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our equipment, managing materials, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our yard operations. You will provide support to our teams at their various sites across the North of Ireland.

Transport plant, equipment and materials to sites across the North of Ireland in line with contract demands

• Safe, efficient and responsible driving of company vehicles and operation of company plant
• Perform daily health and safety walk round checks
• Keeping company vehicles, plant and equipment clean, inside and out
• Monitor plant and equipment register in line with statutory health and safety requirements
• Arrange maintenance and service of plant and equipment as and when required.
• Other yard duties as required, as directed by the Operations Director
• Operating Grab Lorry with Palfinger crane and clamshell bucket (training to be provided)
