The Hope & Anchor in Ross on Wye is one of our standout properties-a charming riverside pub, restaurant and hotel known for its welcoming atmosphere, high quality food and picturesque setting. As we continue to elevate our dining offering, we are seeking a dedicated Pizza Chef to take ownership of our growing pizza operation and play a key role in our kitchen team.

Pizza Chef - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

£15 per hour (equivalent to £31,200 FTE)
40 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Pizza Chef to join our kitchen team on a 6 month contract. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will take ownership of our pizza operation, ensuring high standards, consistency and smooth day to day running.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the pizza section during service
• Prepare dough, toppings and sauces to specification
• Maintain quality, speed and consistency
• Manage stock levels for the pizza operation
• Produce order lists and work with suppliers
• Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met
• Collaborate with the wider kitchen team

About You

• Previous experience as a Pizza Chef is essential
• Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen environment
• Strong organisational skills
• Reliable, committed and hands on
• Positive attitude and team focused
