Grade UE05: £29,588.00 - £33,951.00 per annum
School of Engineering
Full-time: 35 hours per week
Fixed-term: for up to 6 months
The OpportunityProvision of high-level PA and administrative support to the Head of School, including dealing with highly confidential and sensitive correspondence, liaising with a wide range of organisations and senior individuals nationally and internationally. Manage and coordinate the Head of School's complex and busy schedule, and arrange School meetings and events. Provide administrative support to the Director of Professional Services.
Responsibilities- High-level PA and administrative support to the Head of School and Director of Professional Services
- Handling highly confidential and sensitive correspondence
- Liaising with organisations and senior individuals nationally and internationally
- Managing and coordinating a complex, busy schedule
- Arranging School meetings and events
- School education to standard grade or equivalent plus experience as a senior or executive PA
- Rigorous approach to dealing with confidential and highly sensitive matters, combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels
- Experience maintaining a demanding calendar for senior postholders
- Positive, confident, committed and flexible attitude to work
- IT literacy: expert knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Teams, MS SharePoint and Visio applications
