People Policy and Compliance Lead

This is an exciting opportunity for a People Policy Specialist to join a leading education organisation.
Reporting into the People Policy and Compliance Lead you will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the organisation's people policies, processes and compliance frameworks.
Responsibilities- Collaborating with key stakeholders to develop, review and update their policies to ensure legal and regulatory compliance
- Implementing processes to monitor compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, i.e. safeguarding, data protection, and equality laws risk
- Producing reports on compliance status for senior management, identifying key trends, risks, and areas requiring improvement
- Being first point of contact for compliance, policy, and complaints-related queries from staff, and senior management, and external bodies
You should have a track record of developing and implementing effective people policies, processes and compliance frameworks. A strong working knowledge of safeguarding, GDPR, Equality and Diversity laws needs to be combined with an ability to analyse data and create reports. GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above is essential.
