A leading UK law firm is seeking a Pensions Solicitor (Partner) to join its Birmingham office on a full time basis, with a highly competitive salary on offer. The role involves advising employers, trustees, public sector bodies and financial institutions across the full spectrum of pensions matters. The firm has invested strategically in its Midlands presence and offers a collaborative culture with strong cross selling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex pensions mandates and projects.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships across the pensions spectrum.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across employment, corporate, banking and dispute resolution teams.
  • Contribute to strategic business development initiatives regionally and nationally.
  • Provide commercial and technical expertise in trustee and employer advisory work.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams on transactions and projects.
Candidate Profile
  • Established experience as a Pensions Partner, Legal Director, Senior Associate or Counsel.
  • Demonstrable track record of developing business and managing client relationships.
  • Extensive experience advising on a broad range of pensions matters.
  • Strong technical expertise across trustee and employer advisory work.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Experience leading transactions, projects and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development.
  • Ambition to contribute to the growth and direction of a successful practice.
  • A portable following is advantageous but not essential for candidates able to demonstrate a clear business case and growth strategy.
