Veritas Education is delighted to be exclusively supporting a sought-after primary school in the Burnley area in the recruitment of a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis, working 2 days per week.

This is an excellent opportunity for both ECTs and experienced teachers seeking a rewarding role within a welcoming and supportive school community. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 2 class and will benefit from dedicated ECT support and mentoring, alongside additional PPA release time.

The Role

• Year 2 Class Teacher
• Part-time position (2 days per week)
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with experienced staff and school leaders
• Assess, monitor and support pupil progress

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Passionate about teaching and learning in Key Stage 1
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Committed to achieving the best outcomes for all pupils
• Open to both ECTs and experienced practitioners
