The person appointed will be expected to provide simultaneous interpreting and text translation services to facilitate the proceedings of the Northern Ireland Assembly and may also be expected to provide other miscellaneous editorial/proofreading services in Irish and English.

The role is 37 hours per week, usually undertaken Monday to Friday, however out-of-hours work, including evenings (particularly on days when the Assembly is sitting) and occasionally weekends, will be required, for which time off in lieu will be provided.
