Production/Machine Operative

Pertemps Warrington seeks Production/Machine Operatives for a site in Hindley Green, Wigan, Lancashire. This full-time, temporary-to-permanent position pays £14.41 per hour, plus a shift allowance and bonus opportunities. Working Monday to Friday on rotating day shifts, with an early finish on Fridays, you will load, unload, and operate production filling lines, manage automatic and semi-automatic packing machinery, and perform quality control checks to set procedures. Our well-established global client is currently recruiting a number of Production/Machine Operatives to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. They are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated candidates who are keen to be multi trained on various equipment/sections.

• Loading, unloading and operating production filling lines.
• Operating automatic and semi- automatic filling and packing machines.
• Carrying out quality control tests to set methods.
• Monitoring, controlling, and recording information on paper and electronic systems.
• Ensuring that mixing, packaging, and labelling specifications are adhered to at all times.
• Chemical blending and filling to exact production standards.

• Have previous experience within a Production/Manufacturing environment.
• Competent and confident in using production machinery and equipment.
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs.
• Flexible to work rotating shifts if required.
• Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be able physically fit with the ability the lift up to 25kg.
