Job Description

• Oversee and manage all payroll processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
• Maintain and update payroll systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Prepare and process payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond promptly to employee queries.
• Ensure timely submission of payroll taxes and other statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with the accounting and finance department to streamline processes.
• Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Part Time Head of Payroll should have:

• Proven experience in payroll management within a professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant legislation.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage and lead a small team effectively.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• A background in accounting and finance is advantageous.
• 3 days a week in office
