Painter & Decorator

Pertemps Birmingham Commercial is seeking a Painter & Decorator for a full-time, temporary contract in Birmingham, paying £18 per hour. The role involves working Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 18:00pm, across modern residential buildings in the B4 area.

Role

• Carry out painting and decorating duties including preparation, undercoating, glossing, and emulsion.
• Undertake planned maintenance and responsive repairs to ensure properties remain safe, welcoming, and well-presented.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in all working areas.
• Provide excellent service to building residents, reporting any issues or follow-up requirements to your team leader.

What You Need

• Proven experience as a painter and decorator, ideally in a residential or facilities setting.
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload.
• A strong eye for detail and pride in delivering high standards.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Must provide your own paintbrushes and rollers.
