Job Description

A leading educational consultancy firm based in West London is looking for a PA/Admin Assistant to support the Founder of this fast-paced, dynamic company.

Based in hugely social offices with an on site artisan café, communal garden and indoor relaxation as well as wellness/meditation spaces, bike storage, and showers.

An exclusive independent educational consultancy supporting children ranging from 6 years old through their education and on to university. Their client base is almost entirely through recommendation. They thrive on building and developing long-standing relationships with students and families.

The role is very fast-paced and varied, working in an exceptionally collaborative, appreciative, and friendly environment.

Administrative Assistant/PA Job Description
  • Administrative Assistant providing PA and general support to the Founder - working with the Senior EA who has been there since inception - very nice with a great sense of humour
  • Upwardly manage the Founder
  • Online booking system for lessons (training provided)
  • Approval of lesson reports, with a daily report to the Founder on homework not completed, reports missing grades and missing reports
  • Inputting lesson schedules and school term dates onto their software
  • Reminding parents to book mock exams, checking dates of exams, checking clashes with lessons and organising reschedules, chasing results and papers, updating spreadsheet with results
  • Inputting dates in Founder's diary
  • Emails from teachers and clients (high volume)
  • WhatsApp communication with clients (high volume)
  • Keeping on top of past exam papers and organising them into their correct files
  • Read all emails sent by the Founder and EA and follow up to make sure points are actioned and completed
Candidate
  • An interest in education but don't need experience working in education
  • Happy with a small office of between 3 and 5 people
  • Must be highly organised and able to prioritise
  • Enjoys a fast-paced and varied role
  • Strong admin skills and good attention to detail
  • Ability to use own initiative and get things done
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships with both clients and teachers
  • Friendly, social and good sense of humour to fit with the culture of the office
