Contract Type: Full Time Permanent Contract

Salary Scale: €55,430 to €68,228 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI's Long Service Increments.

This pay scale is subject to increases in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations.

Annual Leave Entitlement: 33 Days per annum pro rata

Overview of the Post

The post holder will be responsible for the development, management and delivery of a range of respite services in the region including day, evening and weekend respite, afterschool support, summer activity sessions and future alternative respite services across the Southeast. This includes responsibility for the management of staffing, budgets, and the provision of the highest standards of respite care. The post holder will plan, develop, manage and review services in line with the identified needs in the area and aligned to Enable Ireland's Strategic Plan and model of service delivery. The post holder will ensure compliance with all relevant standards and the implementation of Enable Ireland policies and procedures, ensuring that services are child centered and in line with best practice, maintaining a high standard of clinical care. The successful candidate will line manage, provide support and supervision, and ensure appropriate training is delivered to the staff team.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Recognised third level qualification in Nursing or Social care relevant to the post
  • Experience working with children with disabilities
  • Previous management/supervisory experience relevant to the role
  • Experience leading and managing teams and resource management
  • Full drivers licence and access to own transport
  • Must have a right to work in the country
  • Be CORU/NMBI registered
  • Management Qualification
  • Experience delivering training
  • Experience of working in the health care or not for profit sector
