OT Mobility and Security Engineer

Our client is a global manufacturing organisation investing in Operational Technology (OT) modernization across its production sites. You will join a team focused on securely connecting Legacy industrial environments with modern endpoint management and security platforms.

As an OT Mobility & Security Engineer, you will bridge the gap between Legacy factory-floor systems and modern technologies. You will support OT security, industrial mobility solutions, and endpoint management while helping integrate older production systems with new platforms such as Microsoft Intune. This is a hands-on role combining OT, infrastructure, mobility, and cybersecurity expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Connect and integrate Legacy OT systems with modern infrastructure and endpoint management platforms.
• Manage and secure Android-based devices, industrial scanners, tablets, and other factory-floor technologies.
• Support Microsoft Intune deployments and endpoint management within manufacturing environments.
• Implement OT security controls, network segmentation, and Firewall policies across production sites.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to modernize OT environments.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, security, and integration issues between old and new systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in OT, Industrial IT, Manufacturing IT, or Factory Automation environments.
• Proven experience connecting Legacy systems to modern platforms and enterprise technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, endpoint management, and device provisioning.
• Strong knowledge of Android devices, ruggedized mobile devices, scanners, and industrial mobility solutions.
• Experience with OT security principles, Firewalls, network segmentation, and industrial networks.
• Background in manufacturing, agriculture, food production, or pharmaceutical environments.
