What you will do
  • Undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for children and young people aged 0-19, including those with complex physical and developmental needs.

  • Recommend, prescribe, and review specialist equipment to support independence and safety.

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including health, education, and social care professionals.

  • Liaise closely with children, families, and carers to ensure person-centred, effective interventions.

  • Deliver services across community settings, travelling between locations as required.

  • Maintain accurate, high-quality clinical records in line with professional and organisational standards.

  • Participate in reflective practice, supervision, and service improvement activities.

Essential requirements
  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.

  • Experience working with children and young people, ideally within community or paediatric services.

  • Strong assessment, communication, and organisational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Car driver essential to support community-based work.
