Nutrition Counselor

Providing Nutrition consulting for individuals and groups at the Static Clinic and nutrition team center & Community,

Conducting health education sessions and awareness sessions for beneficiaries,

Scaling up children under 5 years old for weight and height.

Conducting consultation sessions for pregnant women and feeding mothers regarding nutrition.

Involvement in training and cascading information to other health staff.

Active participation in supervisions and meetings with field supervisors and midwives.

Conducting screening for mothers and children using MUAC.

Distributing RUTF and RUSF for children diagnosed with SAM and MAM.

Recording patient information and interpreting it on appropriate formats.

Preparing and submitting activity reports monthly and quarterly.

Performing other tasks assigned by the project in charge.

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduated from a recognized health institute as a nurse or midwife.

Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in public outreach, counseling, community mobilization.
• Strong command of Pashto/Dari.
• Ability to work in a multi-ethnic team and handle diverse tasks.
• Experience in the targeted provinces and familiarity with the community, geography, and culture.
