NOC Engineer - WAN/LAN/WLAN, Cisco, Firewalls, Infoblox, ITIL - Hybrid (West Midlands)
NOC Engineer required - WAN/LAN/WLAN, Cisco, Firewalls, Infoblox, ITIL required in the West Midlands (Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Coventry, Telford, Shrewsbury, Worcester etc) to join a leading organisation supporting enterprise network environments.

This is a permanent or fixed term contract opportunity with a hybrid working model, offering a competitive annual salary.

Key Requirements

• Supporting and maintaining WAN, LAN, and WLAN environments
• Handling incidents, service requests, and network changes in a live environment
• Configuring and troubleshooting Routers, Switches, and Firewalls
• Experience in a NOC or operational support environment
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (eg SolarWinds, Nagios, Cisco tools)
• Working knowledge of DNS/DHCP/IPAM (Infoblox preferred)
• Experience with VPN technologies (eg GlobalProtect)
• Using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, switching, security)
• Working within ITIL-based processes

Desirable Skills

• CCNA (or equivalent experience)
• Understanding of Data Centre environments
• Exposure to Firewall/WAF logging and analysis
• ITIL certification
