Overview

Job Title: Night Porter, Hotel du Vin

Rate of pay / Hours: £13.12 per hour plus TRONC (service charge). Location: Cambridge. Contract Type:

Responsibilities

• Oversee the running of the hotel from sundown to sunrise in a hands on role, managing guest expectations and ensuring brand standards are maintained.
• Take responsibility for the Food & Beverage Department of the hotel during the night.
• Welcome guests in a friendly and helpful manner; ensure public areas are kept immaculate and prepare meeting and event spaces for the next day.
• Assist guests with luggage, handle enquiries, and carry out nightly Health and Safety audits.
• Be organised and a strong communicator.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a similar role is beneficial.
• Experience of night shift work is essential.

We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year and can offer flexible shift patterns and contracted hours discussed at interview. We may offer career training including nationally recognised apprenticeships and brand training to support guest experiences. Successful candidates can progress to Night Supervisory or Assistant Night Management roles.
