Overview

Salary: £12.75 per hour. The advertised salary for this role will be in effect from 1st April.

This role is all about using your practical skills and attention to detail to look after a place that people love. We're looking for a Facilities Assistant at Belmont Tower to help keep the whole place in good condition and running smoothly for all the people who visit.

Contract and hours

Contract: Permanent

Hours/working pattern: Part-time, 6 hours per week

What it's like to work here

You'll help with the day-to-day presentation of the National Trust's buildings and outdoor spaces. You'll be turning your hand to all sorts of cleaning and minor bits of maintenance, making sure that all our facilities are kept in good working order. You'll also be asked to help with some manual work such as unloading deliveries.

What you'll be doing

• Duties such as cleaning, sweeping and litter-picking, both inside and outdoors. form a core part of this role.
• You'll be aiming for the highest standards of customer service everywhere you look after, and this includes speaking to people as they visit and helping them with any queries.
• You might also get involved with general maintenance work and helping other teams if they need extra support.
