We're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teachers to work in secondary schools across Bradford. Whether you're an experienced teacher, an Early Career Teacher (ECT), or a Music specialist ready for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Music Teacher, you'll deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that develop students' musical skills, creativity and confidence, while encouraging a lifelong appreciation of music.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire creativity and participation
  • Assessing, monitoring and supporting student progress
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Encouraging students to develop their performance, composition and listening skills
  • Supporting school performances, concerts and extracurricular music activities where appropriate
  • Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement
  • Upholding safeguarding procedures and school expectations at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • UK QTS or be currently completing teacher training
  • Strong subject knowledge in Music
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • A professional, proactive and flexible approach
  • A genuine passion for education and inspiring young musicians
  • ECTs and experienced teachers are warmly encouraged to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
