Meet the team

RTÉ Commercial is responsible for commercial activity across AV, Audio, Digital, Print and Creative Services.

This role sits within the RTÉ Partnerships Team, within RTÉ Commercial. This team has established itself in the marketplace as an innovative and trusted media team, delivering award winning work for clients in areas including Brand Activation, Branded Content, and Creative/Commercial Production.

About the role

Reporting to the Commercial Partnerships Manager, with close collaboration with digital teams and the wider RTÉ Commercial Team, you will be responsible for building and managing strategic, insight led partnerships aligned to RTÉ's editorial strengths and audience reach.

Key responsibilities
  • Drive multi platform and digital partnership opportunities across RTÉ platforms, leading responses to agency briefs, developing commercial solutions with internal stakeholders, and delivering live partnership campaigns.
  • Client service and relationship management across advertising agencies and commercial clients.
  • Responsible for partnership revenues - managing a sales pipeline, identifying and quantifying new prospects and converting and growing new business opportunities.
  • Supporting the Partnerships and wider RTÉ Commercial team on commercial activity.
About you
  • Strong multi platform and digital commercial experience, ideally in media, partnerships or agency environments.
  • Proven ability to develop, pitch and deliver high value multi platform campaigns and partnership solutions.
  • Excellent client, stakeholder and relationship management skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and negotiation skills, with a confident and results driven approach.
  • Commercially and analytically minded, with experience managing revenue pipelines, forecasts and data driven decision making.
Employment details

This appointment will be made at the Manager Grade 3 scale and is being offered on a full time ongoing contract basis. The salary scale for this grade is €51,039 to €85,647 gross per annum.
