The Vacancy MOBILE M&E ENGINEER

Here at Wates, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Mobile M&E Engineer to join our Facilities Management mobile team supporting our clients based in London and around the M25.

The main objective is to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on Mechanical plant, including Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies in accordance with contract requirements on Mechanical & Electrical Services.

To be successful, you will ideally have:

• Knowledge of mechanical and building services maintenance
• Strong Electrical / Mechanical Experience
• Electrical or Mechanical qualification such as NVQ or City & Guilds
• Good knowledge of plant rooms and day-to-day building maintenance

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure all works comply with legislation and contractual obligations
• Utilise CAFM/PDA technology for real-time job updates and provide detailed reports on work completed
• Respond promptly and effectively to reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests related to mechanical systems
• Respond to call-outs and cover breakdowns and emergencies related to electrical/mechanical services as required
