Minibus Driver

About this Role

Great Bedwyn CofE School is looking for a committed and friendly person to join our thriving transport team on a permanent contract to drive our school minibus.

The hours will be split between the morning and afternoon (at the beginning and end of the school day). Days are negotiable and there will be opportunities for extra hours driving to trips and events.

Responsibilities

• Drive the school minibus during school days, covering morning and afternoon routes.
• Provide safe and reliable transportation for children.
• Drive to trips and events as required.
• Maintain a positive relationship with young passengers and school staff.

Requirements

• Valid driving licence with no serious incidents.
• Experience driving passenger vehicles, preferably in a school setting.
• Excellent safety record and knowledge of child and vehicle regulations.
• Friendly, approachable, and capable of building rapport with young people.
