Salary

Grade E Pt 15-20. FTE £30,024-32,597. Actual Annual Salary £26,718-29,008.

Contract Type

Permanent, Full time, term time only (39 weeks)

Hours

37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Summary

A caring and dynamic individual that will provide support for students struggling to engage with the education system and work to improve behaviour and engagement in school life.

Responsibilities
  • To manage and coordinate the day-to-day function and development of the school's assessment of the behaviour of students who require alternative, short-term provision in addition to mainstream provision to engage in school life.
  • To coordinate the provision for students who struggle to engage in mainstream learning.
  • To be responsible for coordinating programmes of support for students working through the Refocus Room, working with and directly supporting students accessing it.
  • To deliver appropriate behaviour strategies set within the ethos of the school which will contribute to improved behaviour and attendance in support of learning.
  • To administer, supervise and coordinate work from relevant subject areas, including the use of resources designed to support personalised learning and reflection.
