MES Senior Systems Engineer Opportunity- long term contract - 100% REMOTE

Our client is looking for an English speaking (Spanish is a bonus) MES Senior systems engineer for a 100% remote for contract role for a long term stable project with no end date, we are looking for consultants to start ASAP.

Key Requirements:
Strong experience supporting MES or other manufacturing IT systems in regulated environments.
Previous experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or Life Sciences industry.
Solid understanding of GxP environments.
Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux administration.
Strong experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases.
Ability to execute SQL queries for troubleshooting and data validation.
Proven experience in log analysis, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.
Experience monitoring, restarting, resetting, and validating scheduled jobs, batch processes, and system services.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Advanced English level.
Docker and Kubernetes

Nice to Have:
Experience with Körber PAS-X.
Knowledge of MBR design and life cycle management.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
Experience in OT environments and CI/CD practices.
This updated version clearly positions the role as a MES Application Support Engineer/MES System Administrator, where technical troubleshooting, database expertise, log analysis, and job management are mandatory, technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes are REQUIRED.

Location: 100% REMOTE WORKING- Ideally 1 day per month onsite in Barcelona but not required
