About the Service: The Mentoring Support Service aims to empower care experienced young people residing in, foster care, residential settings, or kinship care. Our Mentoring Support Model focuses on three key areas: emotional support - building resilience and confidence, advice & guidance - helping young people make informed choices and hand-holding - providing hands-on support to overcome barriers to progress.

About the role: As a Mentoring Support Worker, you will utilise this model in practice and play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for care experienced young people, by promoting wellbeing, independence, healthy lifestyle choices, and pathways to training and employment. This role requires resilience, adaptability, and an open mind to navigate the challenges that come with supporting individuals with complex needs.
