Grade FL, Salary £35,500 per annum (London based) or Grade FN, Salary £31,870 per annum (outside London)

Location: Anywhere in UK - Hybrid working (minimum 2 office days per week)

Closing date: 04 May 2026

Interview date: Week commencing 11 May - first stage interviews via Teams. Second stage interviews in-person on 22 May TBC.

Membership Events Coordinator

The Royal College of General Practitioners is looking for a Membership Events Coordinator to deliver an exciting calendar of high quality member events across the UK. The role involves coordinating flagship events such as national awards galas, member ceremonies, webinars, and community events - from idea through to delivery and review.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate and deliver a range of events, ensuring all operational aspects run smoothly.
  • Manage speakers and liaise with key stakeholders to secure quality content.
  • Develop and execute event marketing strategies to maximise attendance and engagement.
  • Work within allocated budgets and monitor spend against financial targets.
  • Review event outcomes, gather feedback, and produce post event reports.
  • Collaborate with a small, high performing team across the organisation to create events that members truly value.
Qualifications
  • Excellent event planning and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and a flair for clear communication.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
