Over the past months, our international Field Service Team has grown with skilled professionals. Now, we're looking for that final experienced Mechanical Field Service Engineer, someone with hands-on expertise in large packaging machinery, to complete our team.

What You Will Do

As Field Service Technician/Engineer at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries EMEA Ltd. (MHI), you provide mechanical service expertise for our corrugator and box-making machines.

The assignments involve travelling internationally for 1 to 2 weeks at a time, and occasionally for up to 7 weeks. In return, you will have considerable freedom in your role. To support a healthy work-life balance, you will also receive dedicated recovery time at home.

Your main responsibilities include:

You enjoy traveling and have no issues being away from home for extended periods.

Customers can always rely on you. You have strong communication skills and know how to effectively interact with customers both in spoken and written English.

Additionally, you must have:

  • Mbo level 4/bachelor mechanical technology.
  • Several years of experience as a Service Technician/Engineer.
  • Experience in machine building, industrial manufacturing, or a related field.
  • EU passport (no visa sponsorship available).
  • Residency in NL, DE, UK, or CZ is mandatory.
  • Good command of the English language and preferably another second language.

What We Offer

Because you spend a significant amount of time traveling, you have the flexibility to work from home when you are not at the customer locations.

You can also expect:

  • Salary: €3800, €4600,- based on full-time employment (40 hrs).
  • 27 vacation days and 5 additional leave days.
  • A pension plan according Metalelektro pension plan.
