We're seeking an organised, diligent and proactive Marketing Assistant to join our team.
As a Marketing Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in amplifying our brand and reputation. This role is perfect for someone enthusiastic about learning, developing their skills, and eager to gain comprehensive exposure to various aspects of marketing.
Main responsibilities:
- Communications: manage the marketing inbox and respond promptly to requests from clients, colleagues, and external parties. Maintain and manage the Marketing Team's intranet page with up-to-date information, tools, and resources. Attend and contribute to the firm's Admin Working Group.
- Printing & merchandise: manage Quilter Cheviot's printing and merchandise portal, maintain stock of marketing materials, merchandise and stationery alongside our external supplier, as well as monitor usage and identify ways to reduce printing costs. Opportunity to manage the printing and merchandise budget in the future.
- Content: assist in the production of marketing collateral such as brochures, sales aids, pitch decks, and investment documents, by liaising with internal specialists and investment writers. Liaise with the Digital Team to ensure timely distribution of the firm's weekly and monthly newsletters, as well as drafting their introduction / summary copy.
- Digital marketing: collaborate with the Digital Team to develop and manage Quilter Cheviot's website with the most relevant and up-to-date information. Assist with creating and scheduling content for social channels as well as podcasts.
- Financial promotions: facilitate and support the Marketing Team to ensure regulatory standards are met by following the firm's financial promotions policies and processes.
- Stakeholder management: liaise with local offices to capture requirements and administer the delivery of client facing material in line with local requests.
- Administrative support:provide general marketing assistance and ad-hoc support, as required, to help Quilter Cheviot meet its marketing and business objectives.
Desirable skills:
We are looking for a motivated and highly organised individual with a positive attitude, ready to engage in a fast-paced and supportive team environment. The individual should be passionate about marketing, able to work to deadlines and someone who works collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders.
- Previous marketing exposure and/or demonstrates curiosity and a desire to learn.
- A team player with a proactive mindset, able to handle multiple projects in a busy environment while maintaining a keen eye for detail.
- Communicates clearly and professionally with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners, both verbally and in writing.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to manage conflicting priorities.
- Understanding of social media platforms is advantageous.
