Piece of Magic Entertainment (POM) is a theatrical distribution company bringing high-caliber content to cinemas around the world. From our offices in Amsterdam, we oversee international theatrical launches, developing bespoke and far-reaching campaigns, covering thousands of screens across 60+ countries. THE POSITION

We are looking for our new Marketing & Publicity Project Manager. Reporting into the Head of Marketing & Publicity, and operating from our lovely Amsterdam offices, this position plays a strategic role within the Marketing team and the broader POM business.


You will focus on releasing the concerts of the iconic Dutch artist André Rieu in cinemas all over the world. André Rieu concert films have a long established track of global box office success, which you will be integral in sustaining and growing. You will get the opportunity to develop ambitious marketing and publicity campaigns for one of the most beloved and internationally celebrated Dutch artists of all time.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creative work: Working closely with our in-house Design Team, and with the André Rieu Productions team, you will oversee the production and approval of all campaign assets (such as trailer, poster, online ads) helping shape the storytelling and messaging of each release. You will oversee the localization of assets in multiple languages to support the film around the world. Your creative savvy, eye for detail, organization and communication skills will be key. You will follow the process from A to Z, following your production planning.


Marketing, Publicity & campaign management: You will be in charge of creating, planning and implementing marketing and publicity campaigns in several key territories around the world to drive as much visibility and ticket sales as possible for the theatrical release. You will get to work on a vast array of channels such as social media, radio, print, CRM, on-site marketing. From planning to budgeting, execution and reporting, you will oversee all steps to run a successful campaign, and collaborate closely with André Rieu Productions as well as several external agencies and partners.


Trade Marketing: You will work closely with our sales team to ensure cinema exhibitors promote the André Rieu concerts in cinemas. You will create B2B sales sheets and adverts, and work closely with cinemas to ensure successful in-cinema and online promotions.


Ad Hoc: You will participate in the production of the cinema feature in various ways, including by facilitating the filming of local hosts presenting the cinema feature.


Language: Dutch, English

Hours: 40h/week


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Passion for film and entertainment - affinity with André Rieu is a plus!

Minimum 3 years' experience in a marketing project manager role or similar

Previous experience in the entertainment and/or cinema sector is ideal

Excellent level of English (written and spoken), and fluent Dutch

Any other language spoken is also a plus - we are a multicultural environment!

Good understanding of digital marketing and social media

You have experience in or affinity with nurturing long lasting relationships with strategic partners

Proficient user of Microsoft Office, in particular, Excel and Powerpoint


Strong organizational skills, deadline oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment

Excellent communication skills and affinity with team work, whether internally or with external partners

You pay attention to details and take pride in delivering high quality work

You are a self-starter, happy to take on a challenge and pro-active by nature
