Maintenance Engineer

G2 are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical engineering bias to work on a long-term project within a maintenance team for my client based in Antwerp. The client require a Maintenance engineer who has proven past experience working on both static and rotating equipment across a chemical production facility.

The successful candidate will be working on a large Petrochemical plant and will be heavily involved in the ongoing maintenance works on site both dealing with the current maintenance needs but also highlights and working on preventative maintenance to ensure operations are all able to continue with minimal negative effects.

You will also have to have experience working with mechanical and rotating equipment as well as experience for budgeting such maintenance projects.

The ideal candidate will have had experience working on the maintenance on live plants, within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or chemical industry, who is able to work independently on all aspects of OPEX maintenance projects.

START: June/ July 2025

LOCATION: Antwerp, Belgium

DURATION: 12 Month Rolling Contract

HOURS: Full-time

Maintenance ENGINEER (Mechanical engineering bias)

Specification:

• 5+ Years Maintenance engineering experience or mechanical engineer with strong experience on maintenance projects within production plants - Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Chemical industry.
• Familiar with mechanical equipment in these environments (pumps, compressors, heat exchangers and cooling towers)
• Knowledgeable on both static and Rotating equipment
• Fluent in Dutch and English and available onsite 5 days a week.

They have indicated that they can interview next week and the right candidate could start as early as the week after.
