Maintenance Assistant

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Maintenance Assistant to join a busy housing association in Glasgow for a period of a minimum of 3 months to start ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and customer service skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling incoming tenant calls and accurately logging repair requests
• Managing a shared repairs inbox and scheduling maintenance appointments
• Coordinating gas servicing and planned maintenance visits
• Liaising effectively with contractors to ensure timely completion of works

About You

• Proven customer service and administrative experience
• Confident managing a high volume of calls and emails in a busy setting
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Previous experience in housing, property maintenance, or a similar sector is desirable

This role would suit someone who is proactive, organised, and able to juggle multiple priorities while delivering excellent service to tenants.
