About the role

Join a landmark engineering collaboration and play a vital role in delivering one of the UK's most high-profile and technically advanced infrastructure projects. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a long-term, nationally significant programme where innovation, precision, and excellence are at the forefront of everything we do. Working at the heart of the Balfour Beatty Rolls-Royce project, you will be part of a team driving complex logistics operations that support critical construction and engineering activities.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will operate in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment where your ability to plan, organise, and communicate effectively will directly impact project success. You'll engage with multiple stakeholders, manage the movement of essential materials, and ensure that operations run seamlessly from delivery through to on-site coordination. This role offers the chance to develop your expertise within a major project setting while contributing to work that has lasting impact on the UK's infrastructure landscape.

What you'll be doing

As a Logistics Coordinator you will:
  • Plan, monitor, and coordinate inbound deliveries, ensuring efficient allocation to designated tranches
  • Liaise closely with subcontractors, particularly in relation to abnormal or complex load requirements
  • Conduct weekly inventory monitoring and produce accurate reports for internal stakeholders
  • Prepare, maintain, and manage comprehensive logistics documentation and reporting systems
  • Ensure full compliance with Balfour Beatty transport regulations, including enforcing standards across contractors
  • Uphold strict security and compliance protocols across all logistics operations.
Who we're looking for

You will have the following:
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and efficient manner
  • Excellent communication skills when working with subcontractors and internal teams
  • High attention to detail, particularly in reporting and compliance
  • Experience in logistics, construction, or large-scale project environments (preferred).
Why work for us

Day in, day out, our teams deliver some of the UK's most ambitious, exciting and meaningful projects; developing, building and maintaining the vital infrastructure that supports national economies and strengthens communities.

Why join us?

As if contributing to and supporting work that makes life better for millions wasn't rewarding enough, we offer a full range of benefits too. You'll have the freedom to shape the package that's right for you and your life. Here are some of our key benefits:

- Smart working, giving you more flexibility such as staggered start and finish times, with up to 40% remote working, where roles allow.
- 25 days paid annual leave (pro rata)

- Pension, share incentive plan, volunteering leave, recognition schemes and much more
