Job Title: Locum Residential Property Solicitor

Location: London

Contract: Locum with the potential to lead to a permanent role

London based law firm are looking for an experienced conveyancing lawyer with circa 5 years PQE to join their legal team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing a wide range of property matters and ensuring seamless execution of transactions. This is a hands on position that requires strong technical ability, commercial awareness, and meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and assist with all aspects of residential and commercial property transactions
• Conduct title checks, property searches, and due diligence.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and related documentation.
• Maintain accurate case records, documentation, and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Provide administrative and legal support to partners and fee earners across the property department.
• Assist in post completion matters, including registration and stamp duty submissions.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years PQE with a strong background in property law (residential and/or commercial)
• Proven experience handling a high volume caseload.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills.
• Strong client facing and relationship management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced, professional environment.
