Local Authority Adult Social Care, Strategic Commissioning, South West London Pay rate c. £500 / day Contract role - Local Authority Adult Social Care Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Strategic Commissioner, within Learning Disability in Adult's Services. Please note - it is essential that you have Local Authority Commissioning experience for this role. Overview:The Learning Disabilities Commissioner will focus on strategic commissioning for residents with learning disabilities, where key themes are:

• Promoting Independence - through commissioning key services such as information and advice and prevention & early support which support people to remain independent

• Prevention and reducing health inequalities - working with Public Health, Health and the Voluntary Sector

• Joint up working with colleagues - working closely with social care teams, housing, market management and the digital team to deliver joint up and high quality services

• Partnership with providers and partners across South West London - developing joint solutions with health, community and local authority partners across South West London

• Co-production and engagement - Making sure people's voices are at the heart of all services we design and commission
