SEND Needs Assessment Plan WriterCheshire East £280 per day Hybrid WorkingPertemps are lookng for an experienced SEND Needs Assessment Plan Writer to join a busy SEND Team within a local authority.The successful candidate will manage a designated caseload while supporting the delivery of an efficient statutory assessment service for children and young people with special educational needs.Key responsibilities:

• Manage a designated SEND caseload
• Support the statutory assessment process within required timescales
• Liaise with professionals and partner services to gather advice
• Draft and amend Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
• Lead co-production meetings with families and education settings
• Ensure plans accurately reflect the needs of children and young people

Requirements:

• Previous SEND experience within a local authority
• Strong knowledge of statutory SEND processes
• Experience writing high-quality EHCPs
• Ability to manage competing deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
