Aspire People are looking for experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary schools.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have a recognised Level 2 qualification alongside recent UK-based school experience and who are confident supporting pupils with additional needs.

The Role:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
• Assisting with differentiated classroom activities
• Supporting phonics, reading, writing and numeracy
• Helping pupils develop independence and confidence
• Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
• Working alongside class teachers and SENCOs
• Supporting classroom routines and transitions
• Monitoring pupil engagement and feeding back to teaching staff

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant or relevant qualification
• Has at least 6 months' UK-based experience within a school
• Previous experience supporting SEND is highly desirable
• Confident working with primary-aged children
• Calm, patient and nurturing approach
• Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
• Reliable and professional
