Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded and established law firm based in South Belfast in the search for a Litigation Legal Secretary to join their busy and growing litigation team.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to join a well-respected firm with a strong presence in the Northern Ireland legal market. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Solicitor, assisting with a varied caseload of litigation matters. Previous experience working with High Court and County Court matters is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing, formatting, and reviewing legal documents, court papers, and correspondence
  • Opening, maintaining, and closing litigation files in accordance with firm procedures
  • Audio typing and document production
  • Managing diaries, appointments, court dates, and key deadlines
  • Handling incoming calls, emails, and client enquiries in a professional manner
  • Providing administrative and secretarial support to Solicitors across a varied litigation caseload
  • Preparing and lodging documentation for High Court and County Court proceedings
  • Liaising with clients, Counsel, expert witnesses, the courts, and third parties
  • Managing legal documentation and ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements
  • Ensuring all files are maintained accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements
About You
  • Previous experience working within Litigation is essential
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong audio typing and document production skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
  • Professional, proactive, and client-focused approach
