The OpportunitySRUC is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Wildlife & Conservation Management team at our Barony Campus.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ecologist or conservation professional who is passionate about both their field and developing the next generation of practitioners.
The successful candidate will bring experience in habitat management, ecological surveying, and practical conservation, alongside a genuine enthusiasm for supporting students in building these essential skills.
Applicants should demonstrate a strong understanding of current issues in wildlife and conservation management, with practical expertise in ecology and field-based techniques.
Knowledge of data analysis, GIS/remote sensing, and conservation management practices is desirable.
Experience in education, research, or upland conservation management would be advantageous.
You will contribute to a dynamic, applied teaching environment, helping to inspire and equip students for careers in the environmental sector.
Minimum QualificationsThe successful candidate will hold an MSc and an associated undergraduate degree in a conservation, wildlife, countryside management, or environmental management discipline.
