Learning Support Assistant - All-Through School (Full-Time, Fixed Term)

A high-achieving and well-structured all-through school in Kenley is seeking a dedicated and academically strong Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team on a full-time, fixed-term basis starting in September.

About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional learning needs. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN

Supporting students across either primary or secondary phases (or both, depending on experience)

Assisting with the implementation of tailored learning strategies and support plans

Working closely with teachers and the SENCo to ensure students are making progress

Helping to create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment

Supporting students' academic development, emotional wellbeing, and confidence
-
Encouraging independence and engagement in learning

Candidate Requirements:

A Russell Group degree (or from a top university) - ideally in Psychology, Education, or a related subject

Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable

Strong academic background, including excellent A Levels and GCSEs
-
A genuine interest in child development, learning support, or educational psychology

Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
-
A calm, supportive, and proactive approach
