Lead Marketing Data Analyst - E-Commerce Retail (North Brabant)

Our client is a rapidly expanding e-commerce retail brand that has grown impressively in recent years-both online and through new stores across international markets . With further global expansion planned, the company is strengthening its data and marketing capabilities to support smarter, faster, and more impactful decision-making.

As the Lead Marketing Data Analyst , you will take the reins in shaping data-driven marketing strategies and owning the full analytical cycle around marketing campaigns. You'll partner closely with marketing, product, and commercial teams to uncover insights, guide strategic decisions, and ensure campaigns deliver maximum ROI .

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the analytics function for marketing initiatives, campaigns, customer journeys, and promotional activities
  • Design, track, and evaluate multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Build robust dashboards, reports, and data products to guide stakeholders
  • Translate complex datasets into clear recommendations for non-technical teams
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership to shape long-term campaign strategy
  • Identify opportunities to optimise targeting, segmentation, retention, and conversion
  • Champion data quality, best practices, and analytical standards across teams
  • Support the development of automated analytics workflows and CI/CD pipelines

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Data Analyst or similar analytical role
  • Strong SQL skills (advanced querying, optimisation, data modelling)
  • Experience with Python for analytics, automation, or modelling
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices within a data or analytics environment
  • Solid understanding of marketing performance metrics and campaign measurement
  • Ability to present insights to senior stakeholders in a clear, actionable way

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with BigQuery , Snowflake , or Databricks
  • Exposure to e-commerce, retail, or omni-channel customer data
  • Knowledge of A/B testing, attribution, or customer segmentation techniques
