For our location in Vienna, Austria, we are looking for a highly organized team player to join our Fragrances department as a
Laboratory Assistant Fragrances (f/m/d), Part-Time (20 hours per week), limited contract (18 months)
Aufgaben
Your tasks:
- Prepare applications: collection, stability tests, preliminary evaluation for projects and final applications for clients.
- Accurately weigh and mix fragrance ingredients according to given formulations.
- Prepare fragrance samples for customer submissions or internal evaluations.
- Ensure proper labelling, documentation, and storage of all samples.
- Maintain stock levels of raw materials, bases, and packaging components.
- Manage inventory of fragrance ingredients and ensure their proper handling and storage.
- Handle sample requests and ensure timely preparation and dispatch.
- Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and workstations.
- Update the internal database with sample and test information.
- Support the Senior Fragrance Development Manager & Laboratory Manager with various administrative tasks.
- Assist in preparing materials for client presentations or internal meetings.
Profil
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- First experience in a laboratory or R&D environment (fragrance, cosmetic, food or chemical industries) is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, organized and methodical.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Teamwork skills, willingness to learn about Fragrances.
- Capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks.
