Consultant NMR Spectroscopy - Pharmaceutical Industry

About the Role

We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and highly motivated NMR Scientist to strengthen the Advanced Analytical Development team of a leading pharmaceutical company in Beerse. In this laboratory-based position, you will contribute to the development of innovative pharmaceutical products by applying advanced NMR spectroscopy techniques.

You'll collaborate closely with internal and external specialists in drug product development and analytical sciences, working with state-of-the-art NMR equipment, including solid-state and solution NMR systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, set up, and interpret NMR experiments based on molecular structure and interactions
• Develop and implement new analytical workflows for active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), excipients, and polymers
• Drive continuous improvements towards a highly automated NMR lab environment
• Ensure a safe working environment in compliance with GMP, EHS, and regulatory standards
• Communicate analytical results effectively to multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Master's or PhD in Chemistry, Physics, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with NMR spectroscopy (solution or solid-state) is essential
• Experience with Bruker NMR systems is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with organic chemistry is considered a plus
• Ability to understand and interpret pulse sequences is an asset
