KS2 Teacher

We are currently recruiting for a KS2 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in Ashtead, Surrey, starting September 2026. This is a full time teaching role (Monday to Friday) suitable for both an experienced Primary Teacher and an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to develop within a nurturing, pupil led environment.
RoleFull classroom responsibility within Key Stage 2 (KS2).
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.
- Support pupil progress, attainment and independence.
- Create a positive, inclusive and structured classroom environment.
- Encourage resilience, curiosity and a love of learning.
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent - essential.
- Open to both experienced teachers and ECTs.
- Previous experience in a UK primary school setting (or placements for ECTs).
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A patient, nurturing and pupil led approach to teaching.
- Understanding and commitment to supporting individual learning needs.
- Forward thinking Google school, integrating technology to enhance learning.
- Located in Ashtead, Surrey, within a welcoming local community.
- Nurturing and inclusive environment focused on pupil wellbeing.
- Strong emphasis on a values led, child centred approach to education.
- Extensive grounds supporting outdoor learning opportunities.
- Collaborative staff team with supportive leadership.
£150 - £180 per day (PAYE), depending on experience. Full time, long term role starting September 2026.
