Ks2 Teacher

London/ contract / £195 - 235 per day dependent on experience

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join the school from September, teaching a Year 6 class.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and well-structured lessons for a Year 6 class
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment expectations
• Prepare pupils effectively for their next stage of education
• Set high expectations for learning, behaviour and pupil progress
• Use assessment effectively to identify gaps, support progress and inform planning
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
• Build strong professional relationships with pupils, staff, parents and carers
• Work collaboratively with the wider KS2 team and school leadership
• Contribute positively to the wider life and ethos of the school
• Show the potential to take on additional responsibility as a Subject Leader or Phase Leader
